Thing 3
When I first thought about how I would use my blog in my teacher education program or future classroom, nothing came to mind. Then I read some of the ideas on Edublog insights by Anne Davis, and the light bulb instantly went off. I would do a combination of all her ideals. I would use it as a class blog to post assignments, current events, examples of assignments and classwork, a showcase of the student's projects, and a way to communicate with parents. I would also use my blog as a way to help other teachers. Give tips for what works in my classroom and what does not work. I would be looking forward to the feedback from both other teachers and parents on things I could approve on. I would have my students to create their own blog, to complete assignments, to get them familiar with the technology, and the concept blogging. Overall, I want my blog to be informative, educational, and fun.

Thing 1
After watching the 7 1/2 Habit tutorial, I realized that the easiest of the habits to exercise is habit #1. Beginning with the end in mind. Setting up goals. The hardest of habits will probably be the 1/2 (LOL). Play. I have so much going on in my life right now I don't have the time to. And if I were to stop working as hard or slow down my pace, I am afraid that I will break down and get too comfortable. I am sure that by the time this course is over with, I will have these habits down pact.
Thing 2
I decided to name my blog Ms. McCombs's 23 Things because at this point in time, I am unmarried and McCombs is my maiden name; so if I were to teach at this particular point in time, Ms. McCombs is what my students would call me. Not to mention our last name had to be included on the title and we are learning the 23 things in class. Creating my blog was fun. When it came to posting my avatar to my blog is when it became tricky =). I had to search and find the place to paste the URL. I eventually found it. My avatar looks something like me. Since this is my blog and I will be posting my thoughts, why not make it all about me.
